Works list

Each year we look again at the major work needed. This is the starting point for 2008/9, which is going to be discussed with the Bursar this week. Let me know if you think I have forgotten something important ! Routine things like blown light bulbs or a wobbly locker door should be reported to Matron or Mark who will deal them.

• Ground floor showers
  JT (Jackie Turner) requested a door between the downstairs shower room and the changing room/diner area. Ideally, non-slip drip-matting for the shower floor.
  Twist-on shower taps are not good.

• Urinals on 24 hr flush - ideally on sensors.

• Old Burr bathroom middle floor - Poor condition. Add shower to bath. Fix door. Fix collapsed ceiling.

• Old Burr plaster, paintwork - Poor condition. Specialist refurbishment.

• Wireless Internet Access. New Burr not covered. Assess coverage after White Room work complete; fill gaps.

• Skype and videoconferencing over the College LAN.

• Beds: possible re-design of high-level beds, and a good look at the rest especially for length and condition of mattresses (Matron will lead on this).

• Old Burr Middle Landing. Convert cupboard to hanging space.

• Control of central heating - timer needs looking at, and radiator controls.
