Many congratulations to the 1st XI ! We gave the two Burr players a round of applause at the house meeting last night.
On Wednesday the 1st XI beat Reading Blue Coat School 4 – 1, which was a well-deserved victory. On Thursday afternoon they played Bloxham, the current U18 Oxfordshire County Champions, and achieved a marvellous 3 – 2 win. Our outstanding performance was based on great team spirit, a tremendous work rate and a thoroughly determined attitude. Under Jack Broome’s excellent captaincy, each player tried his very hardest and deserves your congratulations.
