Mothering Sunday, and more

Although we have reduced the number of Sunday services to a few special occasions, two of them are coming up in March.

On Sunday 14th March, it's Mothering Sunday. There's a very warm invitation to join us for an evening service in the Parish Church at 1930. I've a suspicion the catering department will offer tangible refreshments afterward.

And the following Sunday we are privileged to have Bishop John, Bishop of Oxford with us for a morning service, where we will join the rest of the Parish in Church at 11.30.

There's no compulsion for either service - but if you are close enough and would like to come, please do.

Lesley is otherwise occupied on the 21st, running a half marathon in Reading as a warmup for the London Marathon. You can read about why, and even support her fund raising for the Royal British legion, at http://www.justgiving.com/Lesley-Lowndes
