Home clothes Friday

I was very moved by Frankie's talk this morning in Assembly. This was the topic:

Home Clothes Day

You may have noticed in our calendar that we will be holding a home clothes day this Friday 21st January as a charity fundraiser. The charity we will be supporting is Great Ormond Street Hospital. This week Frankie Paolella-Kemp of Year 11 has given impassioned presentations at both junior and senior assemblies on why we should support this cause. Frankie has been a patient at Great Ormond Street and therefore was able to give pupils a first hand account of the wonderful work that is carried out, including his aorta replacement, and explain why we should support them. I hope that your son or daughter will take part this Friday and be happy to dig into their pocket money for a two pound donation on the day.

Kind regards

Shane O’Brien
