Sixth Form Morning

Mr Pavey sent this out a little while ago: it's tomorrow.

In the week leading up to the Information Morning, Heads of Department will spend time in class talking to Year 11 pupils about A-Level study in their subject; they will discuss course content, skills and abilities required for success, and potential career or higher education opportunities.  For subjects not currently being studied at GCSE the Heads of those Departments will be available on the day to offer advice about their courses at A-Level.  All consultations are designed for general information, given as mini-presentations, rather than as individual meetings to assess a student’s potential in each subject (this information can be covered in the January Parents’ Conference).  There will also be a Sixth Form Academic Information booklet available for your perusal with detailed information about the various courses and their requirements.

The format of the morning, to be held in the Sports Hall, will be as follows:
