It was on a Thursday morning

that the gas man came to call ...

A leak in the gas supply has led to lots of digging, checking and testing. The side effect is that we have no hot water in Burr at the moment.

But just as I sat down to blog this, and the contingency plan (visitors' changing rooms, and/or lash on the aftershave), I've been told that all systems are back on. Huge thanks to the engineers who fixed the main problem at 0400 this morning.
