Burr House - House Singing Champions 2013

This afternoon the boys and girls from Burr House took part in the House Singing Competition. We were first to sing and started with our small group. They sang Fix You by Coldplay and put on a magnificent performance. This was then followed by the whole house singing Billy Joel's - Uptown Girl. Again it was another strong performance.

At lunchtime before the main event the solo singers had their chance. Bunty was Burr's representative singing Mercy by Duffy. Mr Jones announced that Bunty had won the solo category and then got to sing it again in front of all of the house with support from Yeem on guitar. Again another fantastic performance.

After all of the singing had taken place and the judges had come to their decision Mr Jones announced that Burr had won. Bunty went up and accepted the trophy on behalf of the house.

Well done Burr!
