Backpacker fuel

Gold DofE candidates, including James, Louis and Max, were shwoing what they could do with a trangia, a spork and a Swiss Army knife in one of the chemistry labs this evening. 


Menus ranged from  chicken and sweetcorn in a tomato sauce with pasta, through  a three course spectacular with a smoked salmon and soft cheese starter on trimmed sliced white bread, bacon and tomato sauce with organic fusilli, folllowed by banana segments dipped in melted chocolate, to beans on bread.
