Last week the College's Computing and ICT department enabled students to take part in a National Computing Competition. The purpose of the competition was to introduce Computer Science to students and to get students excited about computing. The problem solving questions were based on computational and logical thinking.
The prize for winning one of the age groups was a Raspberry Pi computer but unfortunately none of the students in Burr came top of their age group but a number achieved a certificate of distinction. These were:
- Darius Braun
- James Love (Best in Year 11)
- Matt Brown
- Ryuki Maeda
Well Done Boys!
