The large number of Burr families at the Confirmation service enjoyed perfect weather. Afetrwards, one white dove for each person was released from the terrace. They circled the main building twice and then set off to fly home to Essex. I'm told that the dove business is thriving - weddings, confirmations and even funerals are enlivened by them.
