Condone misuse - condemn life

From the school website news:

Bob Tait, alive with energy and enthusiasm, returned to Shiplake to give another presentation challenging attitudes to drugs which although hard-hitting at times was honest and open.

Bob has worked for nine years in drugs and education and drugs intelligence in the Royal Navy, with young offenders and for the Home Office. DRED UK, an abbreviation of Drugs Education, visit around 230 schools a year across the UK.
With presentations to parents, all pupils in Years 9 and 10 and new 6th Formers, Bob’s stimulating presentation looked at a number of issues. What is a drug? Why and how are they used? Signs and symptoms of drug abuse as well as new trends in drug use.

For parents advice on talking to young people about drugs should help to raise awareness and help us protect children from the threat of drugs. As the DRED slogan says, “Condone misuse – condemn life.”
