On Saturday 20 March, Shiplake College’s 1st XI entertained Magdalen College in a keenly anticipated football game. For many Shiplake pupils, it was the first time they had played a competitive game in 2010.
Well done to all the squad, with Ali Mustapha and Jack Gawlak-Johns representing Burr, and thank you to Mr LePaih for organising and refereeing the match. This is the 3rd such event in recent weeks that he has organised. Let’s remember the game for being a fair, fun game to watch on a warm and sunny afternoon.
