Boarders repel boarders

Many thanks to Charlie and Ed who helped me test out a Laser Pico dinghy. just delivered to the CCF Royal Navy section. They were a very well disciplined crew, who helped repel the dogs Bella and Tessa, who felt left out as we sailed away from the jetty, and swam after us, trying to climb on board.

Those who join, or in year 9 have plans to join, the CCF will be able to do some sailing on Sundays next term, using the two Picos and two Toppers the RN section have just acquired. We just made progress against the current in light gusts of about 5 knots today - river sailing is a curious sport, with the trees along the bank having a huge effect.
