Tuesday was the day for all year 10 CCF cadets who are staying in next year to make their final choice between the three sections. Each section ran a 20 minute activity - the Royal Navy one involved delivering humanitarian aid to a girls' school, trapped on the far side of a flooded, piranha-infested ravine, using only a heaving line and some good rope. Louis Jarvis showed mastery of the leopard crawl.
Heaving line practice: a good throw - but wasn't there something about keeping hold of one end ?
