Fri 1 June

A note to all pupils in years 10-13

As you will know 2012 is the 60th year of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and like the rest of the country Shiplake will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee.

On Friday 1st June you must all wear home clothes to school but your clothes must include the colours Red, White & Blue.

Instead of period 5 we will go to Front Field to listen to the BTEC Band, see Jubilee medals be presented to the CCF and play some inter-house games – Egg & Spoon and Sack Races

We will finish at 3.00pm when you will go back to houses before leaving for half-term.

I hope this will be a fun end to a very busy half-term!

Best wishes,
Mr Cane-Hardy

Year 9 start their half term on the afternoon of Thursday 31 May - going either home, or to the National Schools' Regatta event at Nottingham.
